Preliminary Base

Here you are gonna learn how to fold the Preliminary Base. Many models use this base as a starting point.

1. Start with a square sheet of paper and valley fold it in halfes.

Plattveck (Squash Fold)

Prefold both sheets of paper along the valley and mountain fold. Then open the model, fold one layer of paper along the valley fold and flatten the model using the mountain fold.

The big white arrow tells you to open the model.

2. Precrease and squash fold. Turn model over side to side.
