Simple Flower
Here you can learn how to fold a rather easy flower. I got the idea for it when I was in the army while not knowing what to fold out of a piece of paper. I began folding a crane and then somehow, I got the flower. |
Start with a Birdbase.
1. Swing one flap over. Repeat on the other side.
Valley Fold
The valley fold is formed by folding the paper toward oneself. An arrow shows where to fold the piece of paper to.

4. Repeat Step 3 on the other 3 flaps.
5. Turn the model upside down (The top point is the bottom of this flower). Then open the model, carefully pulling one flap after the other (one layer of paper only!) outside. First open out three flaps and squash the bottom point flat, to form a square when you open out the forth flap. Be careful, not to destroy the shape of the leafs.
6. The finished flower.
You can now go on to fold the extended flower, which is based on this model.
