Flapping Bird
This flapping bird is a variation of the traditional Crane. |
Start with a Birdbase.
(Inside) Reverse Fold
Prefold both sheets of paper in both directions (mountain and valley). Then open the model a little bit and bring the top point down so that the mountain fold edge becomes a valley fold edge.

Prefold both sheets of paper in both directions (mountain and valley). Then open the model a little bit and bring the top point down so that the mountain fold edge becomes a valley fold edge.
3. Curve the wings down by opening the back side of the wings and pushing it back a little bit.
4. The finished flapping bird.
5. To make the bird flap hold the neck in one hand (at the point) and move the tail back and forth with the other hand.
